The idea
"We the Educators", constitute a collective comprised of dedicated teachers and individuals whoshare a profound interest in the future of public education. Collaborating with their expansive, globally dispersed creative team spanning Switzerland, Britain, Canada, and France.

I assumed the role of Creative Director for a series of short films. The paramount objective was to craft a collection of videos that would resonate with a broad audience. We successfully produced five engaging and approachable short films envisioning the future of public education.
The process
Our initial step involved thorough research into the most influential pop culture references of our era. From this extensive research, we carefully extracted and adapted certain themes and concepts, which served as the building blocks for our characters and the overall animation style.

From the meticulous character design, crafted from fundamental geometric shapes, to the thoughtful selection of our color palette, we painstakingly curated high-quality content designed to resonate with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Their dedication stems from the belief that these films should be freely available for use by individuals all across the globe, fostering a brighter future for public education.

Seamless transitions

Datafication (2/5)
It is crucial that we prioritize getting to know children on a deeper, more personal level rather than solely relying on the quantification of data from them. While data can provide valuable insights into academic performance and certain behavioral patterns, it can never fully capture the richness of a child's experience, their unique talents, passions, or their emotional and social development.

Personalisation (3/5)
The personalisation of education is a transformative approach that tailors learning experiences to the unique needs, interests, and abilities of individual learners. It goes beyond one-size-fits-all models of education, recognizing that students have diverse learning styles and paces.

Privatisation (4/5)
Proponents argue that privatisation can lead to greater efficiency, increased competition, and more choices for students and parents. However, critics express concerns about equity and access, as privatization can potentially exclude marginalized or economically disadvantaged individuals from quality education.

Standardisation (5/5)
Bad standardization in education can stifle creativity and limit the potential for diverse learning experiences. The key is striking a balance between standards that provide guidance without stifling innovation and flexibility, allowing educators to adapt teaching methods to the unique needs and interests of their students.
